Profile

Hiroki Isobe was previously involved in the planning and development of income-generating real estate for institutional investors, including several funds at Morimoto & Co. Beginning in 2003 he spent 9 years at MK Capital Management (now Idera Capital Management).  As a founding team member, he contributed to the company’s listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s Mothers market in 2006.  Since 2007, he has been in charge primarily of real estate investment, overseeing acquisition operations, accumulating experience in real estate investment and asset management exceeding 300 billion yen in cumulative value.  He has extensive experience in investor reporting and structuring financing schemes in the wake of the 2008 ‘Lehman Shock’.  Since 2015, he has specialized in the promotion of business areas such as asset management, property development, and general contracting.

Profile

After working as an editorial writer for the architecture magazine “Nikkei Architecture”, Shuji Hosoda ran several private businesses, including a café, before moving into the real estate investment industry in 2004.  Since then, he has worked for both emerging Japanese and foreign real estate investment companies.  He has been involved in the revitalization of existing properties and the project management of new developments, primarily in office, residential, and retail properties.  He capably handles the entire process from acquisition to operation and sale, and is well versed in leasing and construction management (CM).  In his current position, he plays a central role in acquisitions and oversees CM for all development projects.  In addition to a master's degree from the Association for Real Estate Securitization (ARES), he has earned certifications as a first-class architect, building administrator (CBA), and real estate transaction specialist.

Profile

After working in construction management at a general contractor specializing in civil engineering, Takuya Chiken moved to the real estate industry in 2005.  He worked for Creed and Creed Real Estate Investment Advisors for 3 years, focusing on acquisition, fund management, and fund raising.  He then worked for MK Capital Management (now IDERA Capital Management) for 5 years.  As their head of asset management, he was mainly engaged in the management and sale of office, residential, and commercial properties throughout Japan.  He later worked for Hulic for 5 years, where he was engaged in asset management of properties owned by Hulic, and then engaged in the establishment of private REITs, and investment and management of properties as the general manager of the private REIT investment management department. Since his transition to the real estate industry, he has accumulated experience in all aspects of the business, from purchasing to selling properties. Especially in asset management, Mr. Chiken reliably leverages his experience, insight, and expertise to develop the optimal solution for each property.

After working at McKinsey & Company on internet-related projects, Koji Shigemitsu was in charge of pre-IPO and post-IPO corporate planning at Monex, Inc. He then worked at Goldman Sachs and Unison Capital, a private equity fund, where he gained experience in acquisition practices, formulation of growth strategies, and post-acquisition value enhancement through numerous debt and corporate investments. In 2014, he founded both Smart Capital and Topaz Capital, Japan's first private debt fund management company. In 2021 he founded a private equity fund, D Capital.
